Professionally Corinne works in Retail Real Estate as a Tenant Broker for fashion retailers. She has visited just about every mall in the US and still does not like an Orange Julius. Weekends she is often found on the sidelines of her kids soccer games and is a committed Soccer Mom! Any free time is spent in the mountains hiking, paddling or skiing with the family.

Doug Malmgren

Vice President, PTO Inc.

Zach, 9th Grade

Doug, Kealy and Zach moved to Arizona in 2021, while the pandemic was still a thing and traffic was still bearable. We found Rancho through Kealy's connections at work (Mayo) and Zach started his journey in 6th grade.

Our family also has a furry member named Loki, who is an energetic and lovable Black Lab. He loves going to the dog park, swimming in our backyard pool and sleeping 16 hours a day!

Kealy is a runner and Doug is a cyclist. As a family, we enjoy skiing and endeavor to get to the mountains at least once each winter. Surfing is also a new family interest and we have taken a few trips to California and Mexico to learn the sport.

My name is Michelle Boncel, and I am serving as this year’s Treasurer for both the PTO, Inc. and the Athletic Booster Club.  My husband Dan and I have two children at Rancho, Nicky (10th) and Sammi (8th).  We have been at Rancho for 12 years.  My son Nicky is on the JV basketball team this year, and Sammi has played volleyball for several seasons at Rancho and is currently on the cross-country team.

In addition to being a mom, I graduated from Florida State University with my undergraduate degree, and also hold a Masters of Accounting from the University of West Florida.  I have been a CPA for 20+ years, and manage my own accounting and tax practice.    I love to travel and entertain with loved ones.

I am grateful to be able to work with such an exceptional community of parents and teachers – GO MUSTANGS!

Melissa Lien

Upper School Committee President

Sarah and Michael, 11th Grade

Hello! I recently returned to Arizona with my family after spending a decade living abroad in Europe and Asia. Originally from the east coast, my husband Steve and I are proud parents to Annabelle (21), Tommy (19), twins Michael and Sarah (16) and pup Piper.

Our family is thrilled to have chosen Rancho as our high school home. In our first year, our twins enjoyed their academics, played Soccer, Track, eSports, and Beach Volleyball, all while building new friendships and embracing the school community.

My professional background is in event management. I have always been actively involved in our kids' school communities through volunteering, organizing events, and

supporting students, staff and families. I look forward to continuing that commitment in our second year at Rancho.

I enjoy exploring new places, getting lost in audiobooks, playing tennis and pickleball, dabbling in DIY projects, spending quality time with friends and family and am

always up for meeting new people, preferably over coffee or a spontaneous adventure.

Emily Alice

Lower School President

Theo, 7th Grade, Addelyn, 4th Grade

Emily and her husband Brandon have two children at Rancho, Theo and Addelyn. Their family first started Rancho in 2016, with Theo as a Mini-Mustang and Addelyn soon to follow.

Emily has served as a room parent for eight years. She has enjoyed supporting her teachers, working alongside fellow parents and getting to know Rancho’s fabulous students. From January 2022-May 2023, Emily served as the Lower School Parent/Teacher Liaison. Last year Emily served as the Lower School Vice President.

In addition to being a mom, Emily graduated from Arizona State University with both her undergraduate and Juris Doctorate. She has practiced both federal and state law in Arizona as well as led a legal academic practice as a law professor, legal guest lecturer and has created legal curricula for various educational institutions nationally. Emily loves to travel, entertain with her loved ones, and spend summers in Flagstaff.

Emily is eager for the year ahead and grateful to be able to work with such an exceptional community of parents and teachers.

Kyle Robertson

Athletic Booster Club President

Collette, 7th Grade, Cameron, 5th Grade

Kyle’s family is fully invested in Rancho; his wife, Jessica, is currently teaches middle school math, serving the Rancho community for her 8th year, and their two children, Collette and Cameron, have attended Rancho since Pre-K 3 and Pre-K2 respectively.

Kyle has been an active participant in the Rancho community by fulfilling volunteer opportunities including the role of room parent, joining PTO meetings, and showing up on campus to support school performances, parties, and events.

As he noticed the PTO needing assistance, Kyle took an active role in assisting the PTO and consistently meeting with leadership to enhance and refine the PTO initiatives. As roles were defined and missions solidified, Kyle decided to join the running for the PTO position that best supported the Rancho community.

Kyle’s background in the financial services industry and management has helped to refine the skillset he brings to the Rancho PTO table. He has held various positions within the financial services industry for the past 17 years. Within his roles, he is known for his versatility, attention to detail, technology know-how, relationship-building skills, and he has a knack for communicating complex topics in clear terms. Kyle is currently a Certified Financial Planner™ professional, and a Managing Director where he plays a vital role on the Jackson/Roskelley Wealth Advisors Executive Team.

Staying involved in the community is a priority for Kyle, a third-generation native Arizonan. He enjoys his family time and can be found coaching his son’s flag football team, watching the Dallas Cowboys, traveling, hiking, and searching for new trails when off-roading.

Kyle is keen to Grow Together as a strong Rancho community. He looks forward to connecting with families and fostering a supportive community. His focus is maintaining the committee’s mission which he has branded as the “Five C’s”: Communication, Community, Clarity, Charitable and Commitment.
